Air Fryer Aloo Tikki

Spiced potato patties studded with peas, crisp on the outside and fluffy within. A beloved Indian street snack, these tikkis crisp up beautifully in the air fryer with just a light spritz of oil instead of a shallow fry.
Ingredients
- 500g potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 100g peas
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 green chilli, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- Spray oil
Method
- 1Mix the mashed potato with peas, cornflour, spices, chilli, ginger and coriander.
- 2Shape into flat round patties.
- 3Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
- 4Mist with oil and air fry for 14-18 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- 5Check the crust is firm before removing.
- 6Serve hot with tamarind and mint chutneys.
