Air Fryer Baked Eggs

Eggs baked in ramekins with cream, cheese and a little ham, the classic oeufs en cocotte. The air fryer sets the whites while keeping the yolks soft, a cosy brunch for dipping toast soldiers.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 4 tbsp single cream
- 40 g grated cheese
- 40 g ham, chopped
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- Salt and pepper
- Butter for greasing
Method
- 1Preheat the air fryer to 175°C/350°F.
- 2Grease two ramekins and add a spoon of cream and the ham to each.
- 3Crack two eggs into each ramekin.
- 4Top with cheese, salt and pepper.
- 5Cook for 8-11 minutes until the whites are set and yolks soft, reaching 71°C/160°F.
- 6Scatter with chives and serve with toast.
Tips for the best results
- Bake less for runny yolks, longer for firm.
- A splash of cream keeps the eggs from drying out.
