Air Fryer Bang Bang Cauliflower

Crispy battered cauliflower tossed in a creamy, sweet and spicy bang bang sauce. The air fryer crisps the coating with a fraction of the oil, so you get all the sticky, craveable crunch of the takeaway favourite guilt-free.

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 80g plain flour
  • 120ml plant milk
  • 80g panko breadcrumbs
  • Spray oil
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 spring onion, sliced

Method

  1. 1Whisk the flour and milk into a batter, then dip each floret and coat in panko.
  2. 2Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  3. 3Mist with oil and air fry for 14-18 minutes, tossing halfway, until golden and crisp.
  4. 4Mix the mayo, sweet chilli and sriracha into a smooth sauce.
  5. 5Toss the hot cauliflower through the sauce or drizzle it over.
  6. 6Top with spring onion and serve at once.
