Air Fryer Beef Kabobs

Colourful beef kabobs with peppers and onion char beautifully in the air fryer without the hassle of lighting a grill. The marinated cubes stay juicy while the vegetables soften and blister, making a quick, wholesome dinner on skewers.
Ingredients
- 600 g sirloin steak, cubed
- 1 red pepper, chunked
- 1 green pepper, chunked
- 1 red onion, cut into wedges
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Method
- 1Mix the oil, garlic, paprika, oregano and a good pinch of salt into a marinade.
- 2Toss the beef cubes in the marinade and leave for 30 minutes.
- 3Thread the beef, peppers and onion alternately onto skewers that fit your basket.
- 4Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
- 5Cook the skewers for 10-14 minutes, flipping halfway, to 63°C (145°F) for medium.
- 6Rest for a couple of minutes before serving with rice or flatbreads.
Tips for the best results
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes, or use metal ones, to stop them scorching.
- Cut the beef and vegetables to a similar size so everything cooks evenly.
