Air Fryer Breakfast Bombs

Little dough parcels stuffed with scrambled egg, cheese and bacon, baked until golden and pillowy. The air fryer gives a crisp exterior and a warm, melty middle, ideal for breakfast on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 3 eggs, scrambled
  • 80 g cheddar, grated
  • 4 rashers bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten, for glazing
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. 1Mix the scrambled egg, cheese and bacon together.
  2. 2Flatten each piece of dough and add a spoon of filling.
  3. 3Pinch the dough closed around the filling to seal into balls.
  4. 4Preheat the air fryer to 180°C/360°F and brush the bombs with beaten egg.
  5. 5Cook seam-side down for 5 minutes, flip, then 4-7 minutes until golden.
  6. 6Ensure the filling is hot at 71°C/160°F and serve warm.

  • Seal the seams well so they do not burst.
  • Let the filling cool before wrapping so it does not tear the dough.
