Flaky salmon with a zesty Cajun spice crust and a hint of brown sugar sweetness. The air fryer caramelises the seasoning while keeping the fish beautifully tender.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt to taste
Method
- 1Mix the Cajun seasoning, brown sugar, garlic powder, cayenne and salt.
- 2Brush the salmon with olive oil and rub with the spice mix.
- 3Preheat the air fryer to 200°C/400°F for 3 minutes.
- 4Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the salmon flakes and reaches 63°C/145°F.
- 5Squeeze over the lemon juice.
- 6Serve with steamed greens or a crisp salad.
