Air Fryer Cajun Salmon

Flaky salmon with a zesty Cajun spice crust and a hint of brown sugar sweetness. The air fryer caramelises the seasoning while keeping the fish beautifully tender.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt to taste

Method

  1. 1Mix the Cajun seasoning, brown sugar, garlic powder, cayenne and salt.
  2. 2Brush the salmon with olive oil and rub with the spice mix.
  3. 3Preheat the air fryer to 200°C/400°F for 3 minutes.
  4. 4Air fry for 8-10 minutes until the salmon flakes and reaches 63°C/145°F.
  5. 5Squeeze over the lemon juice.
  6. 6Serve with steamed greens or a crisp salad.
