Juicy garlic butter mushrooms with a golden, herby finish and no watery pan. The air fryer concentrates their savoury flavour and browns the edges, making a fast side for steak, toast or a full English.
Ingredients
- 400 g button mushrooms, halved
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 0.5 tsp fine salt
- 0.25 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Method
- 1Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- 2Wipe the mushrooms clean and halve any large ones.
- 3Toss with melted butter, garlic, salt and pepper.
- 4Air fry for 8-12 minutes, shaking every 8 minutes, until golden and tender.
- 5Toss the hot mushrooms with lemon juice and parsley.
- 6Serve immediately.

- Do not wash mushrooms in water; wipe them instead.
- Shake the basket to brown all sides evenly.
