Juicy lamb burgers seasoned with garlic, mint and cumin are a flavourful change from beef. The air fryer keeps them moist while browning the outside, perfect topped with feta and tzatziki in a toasted bun.
Ingredients
- 600 g minced lamb
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp dried mint
- ½ small onion, grated
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
Method
- 1Mix the lamb with the garlic, cumin, mint, onion, salt and pepper.
- 2Shape into four patties and press a dimple into the centre of each.
- 3Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3 minutes.
- 4Cook the patties for 11-15 minutes, flipping halfway, to 71°C (160°F).
- 5Rest for a couple of minutes while you toast the buns.
- 6Build the burgers with your favourite toppings and serve.
Tips for the best results
- Handle the mince lightly so the burgers stay tender rather than dense.
- Feta, tzatziki and a little pickled red onion pair brilliantly with lamb.
