Lamb leg steaks are quick, affordable and full of flavour, and the air fryer cooks them to a juicy, pink finish. A garlic and rosemary marinade infuses the meat while the fast heat gives a lovely browned crust in minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 lamb leg steaks, about 180 g each
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Method
- 1Mix the oil, garlic, rosemary, lemon juice, salt and pepper into a marinade.
- 2Coat the steaks and leave for at least 30 minutes.
- 3Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 3 minutes.
- 4Cook the steaks for 10-14 minutes, flipping halfway.
- 5Pull at 63°C (145°F) for medium, or cook a little longer if you prefer them more done.
- 6Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Tips for the best results
- Snip the fat edge in a few places so the steaks stay flat as they cook.
- Lamb is best served pink; use a probe to avoid drying it out.
