Fragrant pork satay skewers char and caramelise fast in the air fryer, served with a creamy peanut sauce. The marinade of lemongrass and spices keeps the strips tender and deeply flavoured.

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, minced

Method

  1. 1Mix soy, sugar, turmeric, coriander, lemongrass and oil, then toss with the pork and marinate 1 hour.
  2. 2Thread the strips onto soaked skewers in a concertina.
  3. 3Preheat the air fryer to 200°C/400°F.
  4. 4Cook 9-11 minutes, flipping halfway, until charred at the edges.
