Privacy Policy

This policy covers recipeairfryer.com. It is written to be read rather than to be thorough for its own sake, so if something you expected is missing, ask us via the contact form.

What we do not do

• No user accounts, logins or profiles.
• No advertising or tracking cookies, and no cross-site ad networks.
• No newsletter, so no mailing list to be added to.
• We do not sell or rent personal data. There is nothing to sell.

Analytics

We use a privacy-focused analytics and performance service to see which pages get read and how fast they load. It is cookieless: it records aggregate page views and performance timings without setting a cookie or building a profile of you across sites. That is why this site has no cookie consent banner - there is no non-essential cookie to consent to.

Like any web server, our host records standard request logs, which include IP address, user agent and requested URL. These are used for security and debugging and are not combined with anything else.

The contact form

If you use the contact form we receive whatever you put in it: your message, and your name and email address if you choose to provide them. Submissions are delivered to an internal team messaging tool so we can read and reply.

We use that information only to respond to you and to fix the page you told us about. We do not add contact-form addresses to any marketing list. Name and email are optional - if you only want to report a wrong cooking time, you can leave them blank.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of established service providers to run the site. By category, they cover website hosting and server logs, content and image delivery, cookieless analytics and performance monitoring, and internal team messaging for contact form submissions.

These providers process data only on our behalf and only to deliver the service in question, under their own terms and applicable data protection law. Some are based outside the UK and EU, so data may be processed in other countries under appropriate safeguards. We do not embed social media pixels, comment widgets, video players or third-party fonts, and we do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. How long we keep things

Contact messages are kept while we deal with them and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, then deleted. Analytics data is aggregate and retained by our analytics provider under their retention schedule. Server logs rotate on our host's normal schedule.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or another region with data protection rights, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. In practice this means your contact-form messages, since that is the only personal data we hold. Email us through the contact form and say what you want us to do.

Children

This is a cooking reference site, not a service aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Nothing here creates rights beyond those in applicable data protection law.
