Crisp-edged bok choy with tender stems and a savoury sesame-garlic glaze. The air fryer chars the leaves while keeping the crunchy base juicy, a speedy Asian-inspired side for rice bowls and stir-fries.

Ingredients

  • 4 heads baby bok choy, halved
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Method

  1. 1Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
  2. 2Halve the bok choy lengthways and rinse well between the leaves.
  3. 3Whisk the sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic and ginger, then brush over the bok choy.
