Air Fryer Fish Sticks

Homemade breaded fish fingers that come out crisp and golden with tender white fish inside. Far tastier than shop-bought and a guaranteed hit with children.
Ingredients
- 500 g skinless white fish, cut into strips
- 60 g plain flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 100 g panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper
- Oil spray
Method
- 1Preheat the air fryer to 200°C/400°F for 3 minutes.
- 2Season the flour with garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper.
- 3Coat each fish strip in flour, then egg, then panko.
- 4Mist with oil spray and lay out in a single layer.
- 5Air fry for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked to 63°C/145°F.
- 6Serve with ketchup or tartare sauce.
Tips for the best results
- Cod, pollock or haddock all work well here.
- Freeze the breaded sticks raw and cook straight from frozen, adding a few minutes.
