Thick, meaty halibut fillets with a lemon garlic butter finish, cooked to moist, flaky perfection. The air fryer's even heat prevents this lean fish from drying out.

Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 30 g butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley, to garnish

Method

  1. 1Pat the halibut dry and brush with olive oil.
  2. 2Mix the butter, garlic, lemon pepper and salt, then brush over the fish.
  3. 3Preheat the air fryer to 200°C/400°F for 3 minutes.
  4. 4Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping gently halfway, until it flakes and reaches 63°C/145°F.
  5. 5Squeeze over the lemon juice.
  6. 6Garnish with parsley and serve.
