Meaty country-style pork ribs turn tender and saucy in the air fryer without hours of smoking. These boneless shoulder cuts cook up juicy with a sticky barbecue glaze and lightly charred edges.

Ingredients

  • 800 g country-style pork ribs
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 120 ml barbecue sauce

Method

  1. 1Rub the ribs with sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  2. 2Preheat the air fryer to 180°C/360°F.
  3. 3Cook 22-28 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender.
  4. 4Brush with barbecue sauce in the final 5 minutes to glaze.
  5. 5Cook until they reach about 88°C/190°F so they are meltingly tender.
  6. 6Rest a few minutes and serve with extra sauce.
