Updated 7 September 2026
Sticky, tender ribs with caramelised edges and deep barbecue flavour. The air fryer gives you a surprisingly good rib fix without firing up the grill.
Ingredients
- 1 rack pork ribs, cut to fit
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tbsp barbecue sauce
Method
- 1Rub the ribs with the oil, salt, paprika and garlic powder.
- 2Preheat the air fryer to 180°C / 350°F.
- 3Air fry for 25-35 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender.
- 4Brush with barbecue sauce for the last 5 minutes so it caramelises.
- 5Rest briefly, then serve.
Tips for the best results
- Cut the rack into sections so air can circulate properly.
- Check tenderness rather than relying on time alone because rib thickness varies.
