Crispy chicken bites tossed in a creamy, sweet and spicy bang bang sauce that is downright addictive. The air fryer crisps the coating with barely any oil, then the sticky sauce clings to every golden nugget.
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken breast, cubed
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp honey
- Oil spray
- Spring onions, to garnish
Method
- 1Dip the chicken in egg, then toss in cornflour to coat.
- 2Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) and spray with oil.
- 3Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway, until crisp and golden.
- 4Whisk the mayo, sweet chilli, sriracha and honey for the sauce.
- 5Check the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F), then toss in the sauce.
- 6Garnish with spring onions and serve.
