Air Fryer Chicken Quarters

Meaty leg quarters with shatteringly crisp skin and fall-apart tender meat. The air fryer renders the fat beautifully so the skin crackles while the thigh and drumstick stay moist, a budget-friendly and satisfying dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken leg quarters
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Method
- 1Pat the quarters very dry and rub with oil and all the seasonings.
- 2Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- 3Place skin-side down and cook for 18 minutes.
- 4Flip skin-side up and cook a further 10-17 minutes until crisp.
- 5Check the thickest part reaches 74°C (165°F).
- 6Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
